Description
A new theatre in Cape Town’s legendary District Six, The Fugard, is the new home of the internationally acclaimed Isango Portobello Theatre Company. The inaugural season begins with Isango Portobello's acclaimed productions of THE MAGIC FLUTE - IMPEMPE YOMLINGO and THE MYSTERIES - YIIMIMANGALISO playing in repertory throughout February. The productions will be followed by the world premier of THE TRAIN DRIVER, a new play written and directed by Athol Fugard, for whom the theatre is named.
